This look is all about texture and contrasts. A structured skirt, patent leather pumps and a light summer knit top.
I have discovered midi skirts for me lately – I just love the look of this one from Closet I found at Zalando recently. It has a structured surface which makes for a nice visual contrast. Midi skirts often have this classic, slightly vintage elegance which I love. In this spirit, I chose black kitten heels by Clarks to go with this look. Kitten heels are not everyone’s favourite but I absolutely adore them! I bought this particular pair at Maasmechelen Village Outlet Store on one of my last visits to the westernmost part of Germany.
The cotton top has an ajour pattern and is made with an insert of recycled silk and cotton yarn by Rowan. I love the sustainable aspect and speckled look of this yarn. The artisan style contrasts nicely with the sleek silver chain necklace from Snö of Sweden.
