For me, Broderie anglaise is the epitome of summer fabrics. In the 19th century it was mainly used on nightwear and underclothing. Nowadays, it’s often used for sundresses or light shirt dresses like the one I’m wearing today. Due to the tiny eyelets the material is perfect for when it’s really hot or humid outside.
First and foremost, fashion should be fun. That’s why I’m taking you on a little time travel to the 70s today. You will have noticed that a lot of retro styles have reemerged as current trends.
