For me, Broderie anglaise is the epitome of summer fabrics. In the 19th century it was mainly used on nightwear and underclothing. Nowadays, it’s often used for sundresses or light shirt dresses like the one I’m wearing today. Due to the tiny eyelets the material is perfect for when it’s really hot or humid outside.

So I started scanning the market and discovered there were actually a lot of not too bad looking backpacks out there…but then I spotted this galaxy print backpack from spiral bags at Zalando…and fell head over heels!
