Backpacks and satchel bags have made a huge comeback this year as can be seen in the amazing variety of styles currently on offer. I have collected a few of my favourites from designer to budget here.
I have a taste for edgy things so there are a few crazy ones in there.
The neon yellow satchel bag is clearly in keeping with the current neon trend which I rather like for it’s ability to lighten up an otherwise drab or simply uninteresting outfit and draw the eye towards a focal point.
I have a fondness for ostrich skin so I particularly like the Mi-Pac design, which is also available in a classic camel tone on Zalando.
The striped and checkered ones clearly have the timeless black and white theme going for them. Plus, the nautical style is always a winner.
While leather or faux leather are the obvious choices I also rather like canvas backpacks for their durability and casual appeal. There is a variety of interesting prints to be seen in shops lately.
