I mentioned in one of my last Friday Finds posts that I had recently fallen in love with denim dresses. The retro version of this casual classic seems to be everywhere this summer. So I finally decided to get this midi dress from the Esprit summer collection.
This dress boasts a relatively simple cut with a fitted waist and full skirt. As someone who usually prefers body hugging sheath dresses this is an unusual style for me but I have to say, it was a great buy. I love the full skirt and the vintage-inspired look it creates. Cycling is also no problem thanks to the loose skirt so no wonder this has become one of my favourite daytime dresses lately.
For today’s outfit I chose black accessories with rose gold details which add a bit of an 80’s vibe in my opinion. This is the first time I took out the latest addition to my bag collection: this adorable Mini Mac by Rebecca Minkoff. Sadly, the gold details don’t come across well on the pictures but even the zippers are rose gold. I added a broad rose gold ring by Edge of Ember and my flamingo stud earrings by Gorjana. To keep with the blue theme I chose Essie bobbing for baubles for my nails. This is a pretty versatile dark blue which looks almost black but has a nice, unusual edge to it.
