Thu Thu sleeveless dress featuring a papaya-print throughout dress.

Just had to share my latest online love affair with this papaya-printed silk dress.

I quite unexpectantly found this at at New Classics Studios via Lookbook and instantly fell in (fashion addict)love. Simply love the pastel main shade and contrasting papaya print. It’s a sleeveless, knee-length shift dress featuring a V-neck and clean, aesthetic cut. Did I mention it’s silk? Fully lined with zip closure at the side. Mindfully made in Shanghai-based facilities. And there’s a matching coat as well! A pity they don’t ship to Germany though.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada New Classics Studios has just recently come to my attention. The items from different designers they have on offer are not only fair-trade, eco-friendly and recycled, but many are produced with high ethical standards. It is one great example of the Slow Fashion Movement. They endeavour to show that you don’t have to give up aesthetics for ethics and quite successfully so, I think.
