We are in the midst of another heatwave here in Berlin and it’s taking its toll. We actually hit 35°C last Friday which can be quite exhausting in the city. What I miss most in summer since moving to the city is the peace and happiness of days spent in the garden. There is something so inadvertantly peaceful about spaces full of cultured plants.
Germany is once more facing record-breaking temperatures this weekend. I decided to go bohemian in an all black look nevertheless but chose a flowy maxi dress. I can’t get enough of straw hats lately so when I saw this one by Anna Field with its subtle ombré effect I was instantly taken. It goes rather well with the woven straw wedge of my peeptoes. The Esprit dress I’m wearing is relatively comfortable even in the heat. I especially like the lace insert top. My necklace is an original gingko leaf coated with sterling silver by HD Berlin.
