Spring keeps being an elusive beast over here but nevertheless, the days are noticeably longer and sometimes even surprisingly sunny. But we still get lots of rain so a jacket is still a must on most days.
I hope everyone of you had a Happy Easter (in case you celebrated)! I have really enjoyed the long weekend and used the time to sleep, relax and make some classic Easter sweets like these carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Easter is quite early this year and I can’t believe that March is almost over.
Winter is by all means over (at least I want it to be) but this outfit is still an homage to last season. It features one of my most loved staples over the past few months and I will also be talking about why one of my two dogs…

As you have probably all noticed by now, pastels are heavily featured in this year’s spring and summer collections (surprisingly enough). I have naturally light skin and dark hair so I personally rather like wearing cool-toned pastels as they tend to bring out my hair nicely. Since I have a family connection to Ireland this has always been a special holiday for me – I loved it as a child! I also have fond memories of being served pikelets with green food colouring while living in the school hostel back in New Zealand.
