Happy 1st September! I can’t believe August went by so quickly and it’s already the beginning of fall today (ok, only meteorologically!). Berlin temperatures are still going strong and it feels like summer all around.
What do you think of budget retail stores when it comes to fashion?
Happy Sunday lovely people! Today’s outfit post centers around a dress I found at H&M this summer. If you follow me on instagram you may have already seen first glimpses of it.
As the last outfit post of the month I decided to bring you a fun fifties inspired denim look today.
For me, Broderie anglaise is the epitome of summer fabrics. In the 19th century it was mainly used on nightwear and underclothing. Nowadays, it’s often used for sundresses or light shirt dresses like the one I’m wearing today. Due to the tiny eyelets the material is perfect for when it’s really hot or humid outside.
Last weekend the temperatures here in Berlin have dropped to 4°C in the morning again which would have made wearing this outfit a bit chilly. Luckily, I already shot this outfit the week before when it was actually much warmer and felt like proper spring.
Today’s look is decidedly vintage-inspired – with a bouclé coat and dark blue suede boots.
