Ponchos and plaid are two of my favourite things in autumn, especially this year as there are so many great cape styles around.
This particular cape is a lucky find from Zalando with its classic woven pattern in black and white with red contrast stripes. The design strongly reminds me of the iconic Burberry check and I always think this classic, timeless style makes a great addition to many fall outfits.
The marsala knit dress is one of my workday favourites which is great to wear because of its versatility. Light knit dresses are among my favourite fashion staples in fall/winter. They can easily be layered with wraps, cardigans or ponchos to add warmth and different tights to add a fun element. I have added sparkly lurex sneaker socks in reddish brown to match this time.
