Moondust Palette
An eye shadow palette featuring eight sparkly new shades of Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadow.
What it does:
Take glittery eye looks to a whole new level. Explore this palette’s eight otherworldly shades of sparkly shadow in Urban Decay’s first-ever Moondust Eyeshadow Palette.
Found exclusively in this palette, these vibrant Moondust shades are dazzlingly sparkly, but with a super-refined, incredibly sophisticated feel—and no chunky glitter. Laced with micro-fine bits of iridescent sparkle and lush 3D metallics, these shadows create a gorgeous, diamond-like effect. The sparkly gunmetal case features a mirrored cutout Moondust logo, and a full-size mirror makes it easy to indulge your glitter obsession on the go. Every shade can be used wet or dry. You get 8 x 0.02 oz and it retails for $49 in the US.
Shades:
- Specter – soft pink with tonal sparkle
- Granite – gunmetal with multicolored sparkle
- Lithium – brown with iridescent 3-D sparkle
- Vega – bright blue with tonal sparkle
- Galaxy – smoky blue-gray with iridescent 3-D sparkle
- Element – peach with pink shift and sparkle
- Magnetic – purple with blue sparkle
- Lightyear – vibrant green with tonal sparkle
The Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette is already available in the US and Canada right now at Ulta.com, Sephora.com, Nordstrom.com and on urbandecay.com. It’s not yet available in Germany though (and not eligible for international shipping to Germany at Sephora either 💔 ), so I will need to wait a bit longer. Unless I order at Nordstrom? (oh wait, I’m on a shopping ban). You can see some swatches on Kristelle’s Crystal Candy Makeup Blog here. Have a look what it looks like on four different skin tones here.
What I think: This palette looks like it could be a glitter lover’s dream come true. Needless to say, my interest is piqued but I will wait till it comes out in Germany. I have yet to show you my recent (huge) UD haul and I also got a shade of moondust which I love. So I suppose I will like the colours and formula in this palette. Element and Galaxy seem the most promising shades to me at first sight but we will see when I try them out in half a year. As other bloggers have remarked the price is a bit steep compared to other UD palettes but glitter lovers will probably want to try this palette nonetheless. What I like, of course, is that it is formulated WITHOUT Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates.
So what do you think? Loving it or leaving it?
Razor Sharp Water-Resistant Longwear Liquid Eyeliner
Razor Sharp Water-Resistant Longwear Liquid Eyeliner is the ultimate tool for easy, crazy sharp lines. The formula dries quick and sets for all day wear plus building is a snap – just let it dry down and re-line for a bolder finish! It comes in 20 dimensional shades in a range of finishes including metallic shimmers and lacquered creams.
Shades:
- Perversion – blackest black
- Revolver – gunmetal with iridescent sparkle
- Demolition – deep brown
- Snakebite – metallic copper bronze
- Push – navy
- Street – dark green
- Zodiac – smoky black with blue-green shift and blue-green sparkle
- Deep End – bright teal shimmer
- Kush – grass green
- Chaos – vibrant cobalt blue
- Retrograde – dark purple with purple micro-sparkle
- Ecstasy – bright purple
- Junkshow – bright pink with sparkle
- Intergalactic – light purple with silver sparkle
- Cuff – metallic silver shimmer with silver micro-sparkle
- Space Cowboy – light champagne with silver sparkle
- Goldrush – gold sparkle
- Fireball – peach with pink shift
- Bump – white
- Dark – dark brown with gold sparkle
So when will these be hitting the shelves in Europe? They will launch this fall but I don’t think it’s out when exactly so we will have to be patient. Rumour has it that they will come out July 19th in the US.
What I think: Being a big fan of liquid eyeliner I’m actually quite excited about these as well. If they’re as highly pigmented and long-lasting as UD makes them out to be I will actually get good wear out of them. I have my sights on Snakebite and Space Cowboy.
All Nighter Liquid Foundation
A new foundation inspired by the All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray here, it has an oil-absorbing formula that provides full coverage (3 times the pigment as Urban Decay Naked Skin Liquid Makeup) with a modern matte formula that will be available in 24 meticulously calibrated shades, that promise an easy way to find the perfect match. The All Nighter Liquid Foundation comes in a sleek, edgy bottle that has a metallized gunmetal effect with asymmetric cutouts and an airless pump – so it’s easy to get out every last bit of product. The polymer gel system provides lasting wear, while 25% pigment and a special blend of next-generation silicones provides a full-coverage, waterproof, matte finish. We also laced this formula with light-diffusing pigments to blur flaws for beautifully perfected skin.
What I think: This is the product that intrigues me the least. As I have pretty much found my holy grail of foundations at Lancôme I don’t think I will be trying this out. The all nighter formula is still interesting though and thinking back to my university days – I could probably have used it back then! :) I also like that it comes in such a broad range of shades and that it’s highly-pigmented and full-coverage.
Any of these new products catch your eye? Have you tried any of them yet?

I’m giving Moon Dust palette a miss because I am a neutral girl. I used to obsessed with everything Urban Decay but somehow my interest in them has waned off over the last couple of years.

Liebe Grüße!
These products are really amazing! Thanks a lot for sharing :)
